The Creativity Stork

I like the concept of a “Creativity Stork” flying by and delivering inspiration. In fact, there are days when it feels like specific ideas have arrived, and chapters are written and the story moves forward. Other days, creativity and inspiration are everywhere and new ideas come to mind. The important thing is to do something with them, which often means sitting down and actually writing. And then there’s procrastination. More like a weed hanging around. We need “Procrastination Eating Blackbirds”even though they seem to prefer worms. Still, awareness is 50 % of the solution, so I’m going to hang out with the “Blue Heron of Commitment”. If you have ever seen herons fishing. they do seem to excel at patience and focus.
